💧 General FAQs

What is a whole-house water filtration system?

whole-house water filtration system is a type of water filter that’s installed at the main water line where water enters your home. This means all the water that flows through your pipes, to your kitchen sink, shower, laundry machine & bathroom gets filtered before it reaches the faucet.

How does your water filtration system work?

A domestic water filter system cleans the water that enters your home by removing dirt, chemicals, and other impurities. As water flows through the system, it first passes through a sediment filter that catches sand and debris. Then, it moves through a carbon filter that removes chlorine, bad tastes, odors, and harmful substances.

What contaminants does your system remove?

Chlorine, hloramine, lead, mercury, bacteria, viruses & sediment.

What’s the difference between a point-of-use and a whole-home system?

Point of use systems only cover the quality of water you drink or cook with at one singlt entry point whereas Whole-home systems are better if you want to ensure that every faucet and appliance in your home has clean water, especially if you have issues with hard water, chlorine, or other contaminants that affect bathing, laundry, or plumbing.

Do I need a water softener as well?

In the case of hard water as the primary issue, a water softener is beneficial, even with a whole-house filter.

Can your system handle both city and bore (well) water?
Yes, systems designed for whole-house water filtration can handle both city and bore (well) water.
